MIB was by --- the insurance companies. Like a credit bureau, it keeps scads of information on you all of which is collected through those nice little insurance reimbursement codes that the doctor or hospital or pharmacy fills out. The insurance companies use this information to rate or deny life and health insurance.Ask how many people know about MIB! a very small number. I found a physician yet who knows what it does or even what it is. Why do I know about it? been in the biomedical field for a long time and have battled with insurance companies for people regarding rare diseases. But its extent really hit me when I was told by a life insurance company that I had had cancer --- which I never did. None of my docs would ever say that I did. So, where did this information come from? when I discovered MIB by being persistent and a real pain in the butt to the powers that be.MIB will tell you that they are just like a agency. Yes, they do make mistakes, but you can have them corrected or challenged just like with a credit bureau --- if you know the MIB exists; and insurance companies will not tell you this. They will just tell you that the "underwriter" --- some just-out-of-college-kid with a formula tucked into his computer --- would not approve it. Ever try to talk to an underwriter? Kidnap the insurance CEO and you might get there. But they work on MIB data.As you well know, where I went to school they taught us how to WIN not to lose. It was that attitude and train of thought that broke these characters down. First, I found out that I supposedly had had cancer. THEN I found out the MIB exists. HIPAA? now. You need EMR. The MIB will only make expansion to the EMR so much easier.I wonder if just a coincidence that MIB can also stand for "Men In Black?"

Walt –

There is just one small problem — the database, although not quite in the entirety of the EMR already — does exist. called the Medical Information Bureau (MIB). Thousands of people are losing their health insurance every day because they lost their job, couldn’t (or afford to) pay their premiums, or were kicked out by their health insurance company. These events/occurrences are happening every day while our federal workers and Senators and members of Congress enjoy excellent health care benefits and other benefits at tax payer expense. entering flu season, and how many more uninsured people will die from the H1N1 virus and other viruses. It is shameful, morally reprehensible, and outrageous; but the tax payer (especially ignorant town hall protesters) seems not to care. They rail at government, but have not the guts to stand up and ask for equal treatment.Members of Congress and the Senate play down this offense by stating they have employer sponsored health insurance. They seem oblivious to the fact or just don’t care that their employer is the tax-payer (Americans). We pay about 72% of federal employees (and that includes members of Congress and the Senate) health insurance premium. Yep, that’s right, the tax payer pays about 72% or slightly less of federal employees health insurance premium; and if you think about it, we really pay the entire premium because we pay federal employee’s wages and salary (which from that, they pay their share of the balance of that premium). Why don’t you visit the Federal Employees Health and Benefit website and pay attention to what the entire premium is, and what we (tax payer) pay and what the federal employee pays. Are you looking? My, what a large number of (tax payer subsidized) insurance companies and plans these federal employees have to choose from. of like a health insurance exchange … don’t you think? What really irks me and is the most reprehensible, is that we (the tax payer) is making the corrupt health insurance companies richer and richer while they turn around and deny you and me (the tax payer) coverage/insurance or they won’t pay for treatments/tests or they kick us out after they’ve paid an expensive claim or series of claims (which by the way, they’ve to the medical information bureau [MIB] for other health insurance and life insurance company members to see … so those other companies can deny you coverage if they so choose). So again, hundreds of people are dying every day and others losing their health insurance (health care) while the corrupt health insurance companies (that Wendell Potter talks about) get richer and richer; all the while the tax payer pays Congress and Senate member’s health insurance premiums, wages, salary and other benefits.Do you want this to continue? … Or are you going to tell your Congressman/woman or Senator that you want equal treatment (quality, affordable, comprehensive single payer or public option universal health care), or you’ll simply not or vote for them ever again? It’s up to you. Make your choice.

About 346 people die every week from lack of health care (health insurance). It was in vain because he continued to bully & pressure me anyway, even to the point of adding occurrences & dates I had violated the attendance policy. I met with HR about this and got no where. It only made things worse for me. to a desk cubicle away from the rest of my unit. On 11/3/10 I was in agonizing pain as I tried to hide the tears rolling down my face I prayed I would make it to my lunch break at 2:30p. I made it home, ran straight into my bathroom and woke up almost 3 hours later on my bathroom floor. I had fainted or passed out. I called the company attendance line. I called in sick the following day as well & went to see my Primary care doctor. She was shocked at how bad I looked. She sent me to the lab for all the usual samples to rule out the possibility of any infection, bacteria or bug. And sent me home with meds & faxed a note to my manager that I will be out until they can determine what is the true cause of my condition. My test came back clean. My doctor told me I needed to see a specialist & have a scope done. She sent a referral on my behalf to every specialist within a 60 mile radius of my home & every one of them are backed up 2 months for an Appt. I even called my healthcare provider to help me find one as well & they had the same result. In the mean time my primary has sent to my employer, the FMLA administrator & the STD Provider all the paperwork they have requested. And they sent me confirmation that they approved my continuous leave of absence & my STD. But before even received my 1st STD check they are now requesting 2 things. 1. And exact date when my doctor thinks be returning. When my doctor no only does not know what is the cause of the condition, because I need a specialist to do a scope to determine the problem, before a diagnosis & a course of action can be taken. And 2. They want me to sign another release form allowing them to request any & all of my medical records & history, to be disclosed to my FMLA Administrator,STD provider, employer, any insurer, the Medical Information Bureau, Inc., any group policyholder, contract holder, benefit plan administrator, & it goes on & on. Meanwhile already signed a release with the 1st FMLA form my doctor submitted for intermittent leave back on 10/6/10 for this same condition & again for the 2nd one my doctor submitted on 11/4/10 for continous leave for the same condition. And the earliest appointment I can get with a specialist is 1/11/11. So broke, because I work. in agonizing pain everyday. And a shut in because if I want to leave me house I have to fast & purge my GI system or & wear an incontence garment. By the way 41yrs old otherwise very heathly. And although only worked for this employer since 10/09. I have a degree in what I do, many & have been in this same career or industry for over 15 years. I am underemployed with this company & took a position with them that not only is below my experience & education level, my pay is $13k a yr less. I was with my prior employer for 5 yrs. And I was never written up ever. And I resigned that position.

I had a condition that was made worse by stress & anxiety put on me by my supervisor at work. It’s true! WellPoint Inc., in collaboration with the Food and Drug Administration [FDA], plans to launch one of the first real-time drug-surveillance systems. early next year, the insurer will systematically scan the medical information of more than half of its 35 million members to look for hidden patterns or spikes in medical problems that might be linked to medication or combination of drugs; as in the Wall Street Journal [WSJ].Until now, the drug-safety monitoring system used by the FDA has been spotty, slow and passive, relying largely on harried doctors and drug companies to problems they see crop up with patients, and capturing less than 10 percent of bad reactions. But, are there any other reasons for this economic altruism?
Like, MIB [Medical Information Bureau] for example. Are there any comments on this life-saving, yet potentially inflammatory issue? Is there a potential for Protected Health Information [PHI] disclosure; despite HIPAA restrictions? isPermaLink="false">http://www.theccal.org/?p=210#comment-1046

IntroductionRuneScape is a Java-based MMORPG operated by Jagex Ltd. With over ten million active free accounts and more than one million paid member accounts, RuneScape is rated among the most popular online games in the world. More than five million unique players access their accounts to play RuneScape at least once per month. RuneScape offers both free and subscription content and is designed to be accessible from any location with an Internet connection and to run in an ordinary web browser without straining system resources.RuneScape takes place in the fantasy-themed realm of Gielinor, which is divided into several different kingdoms, regions, and areas. Players can travel throughout the gaming world on foot, by using magical spells or devices, or mechanical means of Each region offers different types of monsters, materials, and quests to challenge players.Players are shown on the screen as customisable avatars. They set their own goals and objectives, deciding which of the available activities to pursue. There is no linear path that must be followed. Players can engage in combat with other players or with monsters, complete quests, or increase their experience in any of the available skills. Players interact with each other through trading, chatting, or playing combative or cooperative mini-games.MembershipMembership in RuneScape is an optional service that provides extensive additional content and extra features when compared to the free version of the game. Most quests and several skills, as well as of the world map, are reserved for members. Members can play mini-games with unique rewards, use additional items, and have access to improvements for nearly all skills, as well as the ability to construct their own home. Paying users also receive considerably more storage space for their items, priority customer service, the ability to vote in most player polls, and the ability to post on the official forums. Regular game updates are usually reserved for members; however, a few updates each year affect the free version of the game.Monthly membership fees are set at £3.20, $5.00 US, $7.20 CDN, €4.60, $8.20 AUD or $8.90 SGD, if paid with a monthly subscription using a credit or debit card. Monthly subscriptions can be canceled at any time without losing the days for which the player has paid; however, refunds are not available for unused days if a player cancels or is banned due to rule infractions. Other payment methods are available, including PayPal, cheque or money order, and telephone providers in countries; however, these payment methods generally charge a fee added by the payment provider. Payments made by cheque or money order are typically for a set number of months.Members are granted access to members-only servers, which have no displayed during play. Although members can play RuneScape on free servers, members-only content and items are available only on member servers, and members cannot access free servers while standing in a members-only area.Membership benefits on the German servers carry over to the English servers and vice-versa.GameplayNew players begin in a secluded area populated only by other beginners, Tutorial Island. They are led on a set path where they learn most of the non-member skills needed to succeed in Gielinor, the realm of RuneScape. After completing the tutorial, players can access information from tutors located in the towns they explore. These non-player characters, or NPCs, can replace some basic equipment items if necessary, as well as giving new players and advanced players appropriate information about their respective skills.SoundRuneScape has music, sound effects, and ambient noises throughout Gielinor to enhance gameplay. The music is designed to enhance mood and help to define the underlying cultures of the various locations around Gielinor. Sound effects, such as the "sploosh" heard when a lobster trap is submerged in water, are heard as players train their skills. Ambient noises, such as the cry of seagulls flying over the ocean, occur in logical places. As different locations are visited by the player, new music for that area is unlocked, and can be played back later. Players can adjust the volumes of the music, sound effects, and ambient noises independently of each other.GraphicsRuneScape can be run with high or low-detail graphics; high-detail mode enhances texture and design, whereas low-detail provides a cleaner look and can reduce lag on older or less powerful computers. In February 2005, Jagex began the process of updating the graphical images in the RuneScape cities and the wilderness, planning ultimately to improve the graphics of the entire free area of RuneScape without causing more lag for people using dial-up Internet connections.RuneScape places emphasis on granting players the ability to customise their characters by supplying a wide choice in character models. Unlike many games in the genre, player characters are always human; however, players can choose their gender and appearance from a variety of hairstyles and colours, body types, facial features, and default clothing options. On-screen appearance is optimised by wearing or wielding items, with each different item having a unique image. Standard weapons of the same class, such as swords, use the same set of animations in combat; however, some special weapons have their own, distinctive animations that differ completely from those of other weapons in their category.appearances can be changed using special equipment or during game events. Transformations into frogs, mushrooms, eggs, and other objects and animals can occur, depending on the circumstances. These "morphs" are temporary, and sometimes allow players to avoid negative gameplay effects or access otherwise unreachable areas; however, they restrict activities that human characters are normally allowed to perform.Every activity performed by a player, such as planting a seed in a farming plot or walking down a street, has its own distinctive animation. Players can also express emotions through the use of emotes, which are specialized animations that can be performed at will. New players out with most available emotes; some, however, must be earned through gameplay.SkillsSkills in RuneScape are the abilities that enable players to perform activities in the game. Players gain experience in a skill when they perform activities that utilise that skill, such as mining ore from a rock to increase the mining skill. In general, the higher the level required to perform a task, the more experience points the player receives, and the more desirable the result. The total skill level of a player symbolises the status in the game. The RuneScape hiscore tables can be viewed by all players, and players with higher overall levels are well known within the RuneScape community. Upon reaching the highest available level in a skill, members may obtain a special cape, referred to as a "Cape of Achievement" or a "Skill Cape", which can be used to perform an action related to that skill. Some skills, such as defence and hitpoints, increase the players prowess in combat. Some skills, such as woodcutting and fishing, enable the player to collect raw materials that can be processed into usable items using other skills, such as fletching and cooking. The items created can be used by the player or sold to other players in game for a profit. Other skills allow players to kill non-player characters, build their own houses, and move around the map with greater ease.CombatCombat is an aspect of the gameplay in RuneScape, as it is one of the most direct ways of gaining wealth and is needed to and complete many quests. Combat level, determined by applying a formula to the seven combat skills, is usually referred to simply as "level". Combat level is the only information about the player that is visible to all other players while in game. The minimum combat level is 3; the maximum combat level a player can reach is 126. Other skill levels increase total levels and overall rankings, which can be seen by other players on the official "high scores".Unlike most games in the MMORPG genre, RuneScape does not require players to choose a character class. Players are not bound to a specific category of combat, and they may freely change between the three styles of combat at any time simply by switching weapons, armours, or the form and focus of attack. Players can carry the weapons and armours of the three combat categories in their inventories, switching between or even combining the styles at will. Many player killers (people who spend much of their time killing other players) use "pure" characters, which have some of their combat skills, such as strength, magic, or ranged, at high levels, and others, such as defense and hit points, at low levels. This allows them to more easily kill other characters at their level, which are not "pure". Another factor in combat is the "pking triangle"; combat skills are most effective against other combat skills, magic is most effective against melee which is most effective against ranged which is most effective against magic.Combat is subdivided into melee, magic, and ranged categories. Melee attacks are close range with or without weapons, magic attacks focus on using runestones to cast spells, and ranged attacks use projectile weapons. Most of the weapons are medieval or fantastical in nature and feature different strengths and weaknesses.Players die when they receive enough damage from combat, poison, or obstacles to cause their hitpoints to fall to zero. Players who die reappear at one of three respawn points with all their skills, including hitpoints, restored to normal levels; however, they drop all but the three most valuable items they were carrying at the time of death. A special prayer increases this to four items, but recent player killing, denoted by a skull above the head, decreases this to no items, or just one with the prayer.QuestsQuests are storylines that players can choose to complete. Quests often require players to have minimum levels in skills or a minimum combat level to complete them. Some quests require players to work together. Quests are grouped into four categories based on requirements and difficulty. Novice quests effectively act as extended tutorials for new players. Intermediate quests are designed to challenge players on a relatively basic level, while experienced and master quests aim to challenge the more experienced players. Many master quests open up new areas of Gielinor for players to explore. Once a player completes all quests in the game, another achievement cape, commonly referred to as the "quest cape", can be purchased from an NPC. Wearing this cape allows the player to perform a special emote. Many quests require players to kill powerful monsters.Upon completing quests, players receive rewards that vary depending on the difficulty of the quest. Rewards often include coins, items, access to a new area, or an increase in skill experience. Quest points are also awarded for completing most quests. Some quests require the player to have a specified number of quest points or to have previously completed quests before beginning the quest. Many quests are of overlapping storylines that become more difficult as the player progresses through them. The longest of these, which introduces players to elves and allows them to access elven areas and items in Geilinor, has been in RuneScape since 2002 and currently contains seven separate quests.InteractionMany NPCs populate the realm of Gielinor. Although some NPCs, such as shopkeepers, have game functions that require them to be unavailable for combat, most NPCs can be attacked. Attackable NPCs are generally referred to as monsters, regardless of their race. Monsters range from common, low level creatures like chickens and bears to unique, much more powerful monsters like the King Black Dragon, Chaos Elemental, Tz-Tok-Jad, or Kalphite Queen. Each type of monster has its own strengths and weaknesses. Demons, for example, have low defence against magical attacks while most dragons have extremely high defence against magic. Monsters may either be aggressive or non-aggressive. Non-aggressive monsters simply ignore players unless they are attacked. Aggressive monsters may attack all players or may only attack players with combat levels below a specified level, depending on the circumstances or location. This can make areas throughout Gielinor dangerous or inconvenient to players with lower combat levels.RuneScape also features independent mini-games for its players. Mini-games take place in areas and normally involve a specific skill. Mini-games usually require players to cooperate or to compete with each other. Popular mini-games include Castle Wars, which is similar to the real-life game Capture the Flag, and Pest Control, a highly combat-focused mini-game. Most of the mini-games are available only to paying members.Players can fight against other players in player versus player (PvP) combat in areas of Gielinor. The most common place is in the Wilderness, where players risk their lives and their items fighting other players. Players can engage in PvP combat without risking their items in mini-games, such as Castle Wars and the TzHaar Fight Pits, and in combat arenas or dungeons in player owned houses. Players engaging in PvP combat in the Duel Arena must agree on the rules and any items to be won by the victor before their battle.Random eventsRandom events are interludes that occur during the game, requiring some form of player input. They were introduced to deter players from using automated programs, known as macros, autoers, or bots, to play the game with no human interaction. The use of such macros is explicitly forbidden and can result in the permanent ban of accounts found to be using them. Postings in the RuneScape forums by Andrew Gower suggest that random events were designed not only to hinder macroers but to alleviate the monotony that can occur while levelling skills for long periods of time (referred to as grinding). Some random events are simple, requiring a player only to click on an NPC or to leave the area temporarily; others require more sophisticated actions from players, who must respond to these events quickly and correctly to avoid a negative effect, such as being across the map or taking damage. Players are usually rewarded for responding correctly to random events.

Introduction

RuneScape is a Java-based MMORPG operated by Jagex Ltd. Sound effects, such as the “sploosh” heard when a lobster trap is submerged in water, are heard as players train their skills. Ambient noises, such as the cry of seagulls flying over the ocean, occur in logical places. As different locations are visited by the player, new music for that area is unlocked, and can be played back later. Players can adjust the volumes of the music, sound effects, and ambient noises independently of each other.

Graphics

RuneScape can be run with high or low-detail graphics; high-detail mode enhances texture and design, whereas low-detail provides a cleaner look and can reduce lag on older or less powerful computers. In February 2005, Jagex began the process of updating the graphical images in the RuneScape cities and the wilderness, planning ultimately to improve the graphics of the entire free area of RuneScape without causing more lag for people using dial-up Internet connections.

RuneScape places emphasis on granting players the ability to customise their characters by supplying a wide choice in character models. Unlike many games in the genre, player characters are always human; however, players can choose their gender and appearance from a variety of hairstyles and colours, body types, facial features, and default clothing options. On-screen appearance is optimised by wearing or wielding items, with each different item having a unique image. Standard weapons of the same class, such as swords, use the same set of animations in combat; however, some special weapons have their own, distinctive animations that differ completely from those of other weapons in their category.

appearances can be changed using special equipment or during game events. Transformations into frogs, mushrooms, eggs, and other objects and animals can occur, depending on the circumstances. These “morphs” are temporary, and sometimes allow players to avoid negative gameplay effects or access otherwise unreachable areas; however, they restrict activities that human characters are normally allowed to perform.

Every activity performed by a player, such as planting a seed in a farming plot or walking down a street, has its own distinctive animation. Players can also express emotions through the use of emotes, which are specialized animations that can be performed at will. New players out with most available emotes; some, however, must be earned through gameplay.

Skills

Skills in RuneScape are the abilities that enable players to perform activities in the game. Upon reaching the highest available level in a skill, members may obtain a special cape, referred to as a “Cape of Achievement” or a “Skill Cape”, which can be used to perform an action related to that skill.

Other skills allow players to kill non-player characters, build their own houses, and move around the map with greater ease.

Combat

Combat is an aspect of the gameplay in RuneScape, as it is one of the most direct ways of gaining wealth and is needed to and complete many quests. Combat level, determined by applying a formula to the seven combat skills, is usually referred to simply as “level”. Combat level is the only information about the player that is visible to all other players while in game. The minimum combat level is 3; the maximum combat level a player can reach is 126. Other skill levels increase total levels and overall rankings, which can be seen by other players on the official “high scores”.

Unlike most games in the MMORPG genre, RuneScape does not require players to choose a character class. Players are not bound to a specific category of combat, and they may freely change between the three styles of combat at any time simply by switching weapons, armours, or the form and focus of attack. Players can carry the weapons and armours of the three combat categories in their inventories, switching between or even combining the styles at will. Many player killers (people who spend much of their time killing other players) use “pure” characters, which have some of their combat skills, such as strength, magic, or ranged, at high levels, and others, such as defense and hit points, at low levels. This allows them to more easily kill other characters at their level, which are not “pure”. Another factor in combat is the “pking triangle”; combat skills are most effective against other combat skills, magic is most effective against melee which is most effective against ranged which is most effective against magic.

Combat is subdivided into melee, magic, and ranged categories. Melee attacks are close range with or without weapons, magic attacks focus on using runestones to cast spells, and ranged attacks use projectile weapons. Most of the weapons are medieval or fantastical in nature and feature different strengths and weaknesses.

Players die when they receive enough damage from combat, poison, or obstacles to cause their hitpoints to fall to zero. Players who die reappear at one of three respawn points with all their skills, including hitpoints, restored to normal levels; however, they drop all but the three most valuable items they were carrying at the time of death. A special prayer increases this to four items, but recent player killing, denoted by a skull above the head, decreases this to no items, or just one with the prayer.

Quests

Quests are storylines that players can choose to complete. Once a player completes all quests in the game, another achievement cape, commonly referred to as the “quest cape”, can be purchased from an NPC. Wearing this cape allows the player to perform a special emote. Many quests require players to kill powerful monsters.

Upon completing quests, players receive rewards that vary depending on the difficulty of the quest. The longest of these, which introduces players to elves and allows them to access elven areas and items in Geilinor, has been in RuneScape since 2002 and currently contains seven separate quests.

Interaction

Many NPCs populate the realm of Gielinor. This can make areas throughout Gielinor dangerous or inconvenient to players with lower combat levels.

RuneScape also features independent mini-games for its players. Mini-games take place in areas and normally involve a specific skill. Mini-games usually require players to cooperate or to compete with each other. Popular mini-games include Castle Wars, which is similar to the real-life game Capture the Flag, and Pest Control, a highly combat-focused mini-game. Most of the mini-games are available only to paying members.

Players can fight against other players in player versus player (PvP) combat in areas of Gielinor. The most common place is in the Wilderness, where players risk their lives and their items fighting other players. Players can engage in PvP combat without risking their items in mini-games, such as Castle Wars and the TzHaar Fight Pits, and in combat arenas or dungeons in player owned houses. Players engaging in PvP combat in the Duel Arena must agree on the rules and any items to be won by the victor before their battle.

Random events

Random events are interludes that occur during the game, requiring some form of player input.

Comment on What You Need To Know About Life Insurance by ??PEACH??

<guid

The money you earn may be less but you get a great exp rate ( 20-40k exp per hour). You also get a lot of bird nests. Don’t forget that bird nest can contain very valuable tree seeds! You can get a magic seed which is over 150k!When you reach 95 and you have a dragon woodcutting axe you can get about the same/more exp per hour with cutting yews.I also noticed that at a level you don’t cut willows any faster. You don’t really notice the difference between a dragon woodcutting axe and a rune woodcutting axe at a high level. A dragon woodcutting axe is very useful for yews and magic trees though. Some people say that yews are faster then willows from about level 70. I totally disagree with this. Yews are one of the most demanded items on Runescape. The yew trees are almost always full of players already cutting there. You will lose valuable time of waiting for a new tree to respawn and it may also frustrate you.Note: Magic trees give very slow exp and it is not advised to get 99 with magic trees. The choice is yours…Good woodcutting spotsThere are many places where you can cut trees.Only some of them are enough for someone like you ;).The best 3 places to cut willows to 99.DraynorOne of the most popular spots to cut willows in f2p. The Venus Project has no doubt stepped on some feet on their road to fame. It is surprising that they did not bother to research the use of the term before taking the bold step to trademark it (which is a very contradictory action in itself). The other and work is just as valid as theirs. They just have an ad man working for them. The whole idea of Jacque Fresco and Roxanne Meadows branding themselves shows that they are more interested in recognition than making a resource based economy come to fruition. They want to create a legacy, not a better society for everyone.

I'm glad someone came forward and contested the trademarking of resource based economy. They used to be a great marketplace but now that the exchange is open that is dying off. They are also used for posting rants, suggestions, rs based fantasy fiction, quest help, questions on skills etc. They are really useful. As a non member you can still read them but not post. You can access them by looking at the main page (www.runecape.com), then look in the right hand column. The notion of "trading" or using a " material currency" to trade is rather limiting, in this context. Should I only provide food to those who pay me money (or give me physical things in return) because I am optimizing on money, or is my objective function too narrow? what I am trying to get across, from an OR point of view. The point is that should move a person to a higher order of objectives and therefore a different set of functions to optimize. I LOVE the Unblemish oil control lotion because it actually reduces oil instead of making my skin feel like a grease pit! It feel like I have sunscreen on at all! I also make sure that whatever make up I wear has SPF pretection in it as well, so that I can continue to stay protected as I reapply it throughout the day. to also not forget the rest of the body! Anyhow, to the topic on hand. One of the biggest "discoveries" that had while playing Runescape has to do with the Runescape market. Every time be in a busy area trying to do business, end up spending a great deal of time and trying to click on trade offers as they scrolled by. run to a less crowded area, scroll back, click the offer, etc.A real pain in the rear. One day though, while reading some forums, I saw someone mention "Hide Public Chat / Public Chat off". How could I have missed this for so long?!?! The buttons are right there, just below the chat window. Sometimes leave public chat on until I get a trade request, then flip it off to easily do the trade, sometimes just leave it off altogether (and stand there saying, "buying such and such for xyz each"). However one decides to use it, it makes life sooo much easier. Also, if one becomes a member, the official Runescape forums are an excellent way to sell items. Post your ad and then do whatever. If your price is right, very quickly be contacted and you can go do your business.

Hey Valdesta!
